Best of all in year 2009

Frankly speaking, I had never ever before being interested in any Hindi movies. Just name it… I don’t even like it. Hm.. I tried to remember those hit Hollywood movies, ah yes, uh..Forgot! The one that shah rukh khan was playing. Never mind. I do not prefer it because just this one reason, it has so many dancing scenes. Well, it’s just me, kay. However, this evening everything had changed. I saw my lil’ bro watching his brother laptop’s silently with a serious face on him. For my lil’ bro to be that serious and not doing any noise for even one second, there’s something wrong. Well, I sat beside him as I was curious what makes him stitch to the laptop without even care to be bothered by me who was besides him. As soon as my eyes capture the laptop’s screen, I was stunned. A little Indian boy was being fainted and was put on a wooden old table. Then, there was this scary big Indian man walking towards him with a spoonful of acid ready to be poured on his eyes. Waa…. My heart really stops for a second. WTH was that. It was purposely done to blind that Indian boy as it’ll make more money for the little Indian boy to beg from. It really grew my anger there. From that scene, it was not only my lil brother but it had captured me too, watching until the end of the movie. I rated this movie more than 5 stars. As all the movies that I’ve ever seen (hehe…but I don’t see movies so much, I know it’ll be kinda bias), I will say that I love this movie the most. This movie is absolutely free of lovey dovey scene, fictions, and more important, no dancing! It is more reality.

The title is slumdog millionaire, if I’m not mistaken. I think it is a novel-based story (Q & A ….. ah, I forgot again. My apologies ne…). Well, basically it’s a journey of two kids and how they go through it. The story develops very well indeed. There are lots of scenes that u can learn from the beginning until the end, how the Hindu’s kill the Muslims, how abandon children are being caught and treated as beggars (a must see!), how the poor lives, how police are so being ‘police’, how women are treated, and the list goes on… the most interesting part is how the story were delivered and developed just from a studio where this protagonist was participating in “who wants to be a millionaire”. All the questions being asked were being answered correctly even though he didn’t receive any education. The climax was the last question, one million dollars. Was he gonna win?? How did know all the answers?? Haha… I’m not gonna be a spoiler here…you absolutely have to watch yourself.

As to conclude, this was my first time to appreciate a movie. Enough said.
